MARTA to Close Airport Station for Renovation

MARTA is improving and modernizing its Airport Station to best serve travelers and employees at the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International. The construction work at the rail station has been ongoing for two years and has reached a phase where a temporary closure of the station is necessary to replace the flooring on the concourse and platform levels and prepare the station for a canopy structure that will mirror that over the Airport terminal.

Beginning Monday, April 8th, and continuing through Sunday, May 19th, MARTA will be closing its Airport Station to renovate the concourse and platform. 

During this period, MARTA will provide shuttle bus services between College Park Station and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at the North Terminal Lower Level, downstairs from the North Baggage Claim. The shuttle will run 22 hours a day from 4:00 am until 2:00 am.
