Doraville Receives GDOT Funding for New Sidewalk Project

The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded the City of Doraville over seven hundred thousand dollars to help fund a new sidewalk project along Park Avenue. The project will include improving the existing sidewalk along the street as well as building brand-new walkways along the east side of the road.

This sidewalk project will be another step forward in the City's Downtown Redevelopment Project. To see how Park Avenue could soon look, check out the conceptual map below. This map is not a finalized version of Doraville's future downtown, but rather an idea of how the area could look and feel upon completion.
