The City of Doraville hosted its second movie night in celebration of the 4th of July.

The festivities of Saturday, June 29th, the event took place at Doraville’s newest park, Doraville Park. Residents were able to enjoy Doraville’s movie series and engage in various fun-filled activities. From a mechanical bull and rock-climbing to delicious food from multiple food trucks, residents created memories that will last a lifetime. As the day concluded, the community gathered to enjoy a screening of "Blue Beetle."

In addition to the 4th of July celebration, Doraville partnered with the Chuck Singleton Memorial for a 5k run aimed at raising funds for the production of "Made in Doraville." This film will explore Doraville's journey into its Hollywood era following the closure of the GM plant in 2008.

The City of Doraville will host another movie night on August 3rd, featuring Pixar Animation's "Elemental." Bring your chairs and loved ones – you won’t want to miss out.
