Elliott and his wife, Karen, moved to Doraville in 2004 and have made incredible contributions to out community. Elliott has spent countless hours of his time supporting public safety agencies. Specifically, since 2007 Elliott has served as a member of the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Reserves where he provide critical support in non-suppression roles to the department. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Emory CEPAR, providing support to our Emergency Operations Center. He has also served as Crew Chief for the Atlanta Track Club since 2007, providing medical support during events like the Atlanta Marathon and Peachtree Road Race. Elliott also completed the Doraville Citizen Police Academy in 2009 and has been State Certified EMT.
In accepting the award Elliott said he appreciates the recognition. He believes that everyone should do their part, in whatever way they can, to support their local community.
