The first award, the Spotlight Award, was presented to José Sanchez. The Spotlight Award, recognizes the team member who is consistently providing the Public Works Department with unwavering effort, dedication, and attention to detail in all assigned task and projects. The recipient is nominated by their peers. In presenting the award Director Lafleur said José was recognized by his peers for his positive approach to his work. While José is a man of few words, he always arrives on time and always with a smile.
The second award, the Team Impact Award, was presented to Eric Evans. This award is for the team member who is constantly promoting the spirit of teamwork within the Public Works Department and demonstrating outstanding performance and results while actively exhibiting a willingness to encourage teamwork in the workplace and leading by example. Eric is a shining personality who takes the time to great everyone he sees. He's not afraid of getting into the nitty gritty work and always does it well.
