2022 was a great year for the City of Doraville! We completed major projects like the New Peachtree Road revitalization. We were able to celebrate our whole community through inclusive events like Welcoming Week and Latin and Hispanic Heritage Month. Our Parks and Recreation Department established new programs for our residents to enjoy. All while Mayor Geierman and the rest of City Council took steps to make fostering the arts in our community a priority. And we're not slowing down - 2023 is off to a great start. Assembly will be opening the doors to their brand new nineteen soundstages later this year. The City will be locking in plans with partners Kaufman Capital on Doraville's future City Center. There are so many exciting things for the City of Doraville, and we can't wait to see what's next! |
¡El 2022 fue un gran año para la ciudad de Doraville! Donde completamos proyectos importantes, como la revitalización de New Peachtree Road. Pudimos celebrar a toda nuestra comunidad a través de eventos inclusivos como la Semana de Bienvenida y el Mes de la Herencia Latina e Hispana. Nuestro Departamento de Parques y Recreación estableció nuevos programas para el disfrute de nuestros residentes. Todo mientras el alcalde Geierman y el resto del Concejo Municipal tomaban medidas para hacer del fomento de las artes en nuestra comunidad una prioridad. Y no estamos disminuyendo la velocidad: 2023 ha tenido un gran comienzo. Assembly abrirá las puertas de sus nuevos diecinueve escenarios sonoros a finales de este año. La ciudad cerrará planes con nuestros socios Kaufman Capital para el futuro centro de la ciudad de Doraville. ¡Hay muchas cosas emocionantes para la Ciudad de Doraville, y estamos ansiosos por ver qué sigue! |
