During City Council's Regular Session Meeting on Wednesday the 20th, Mayor Geierman issued a proclamation recognizing July as Parks and Recreation Month in Doraville. Mayor Geierman awarded the proclamation to Doraville Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Director Crystal Dawson. Director Dawson then made some remarks where she thanked both the Mayor and City Council for their support of the Parks and Recreation Department. She also recognized the staff of the Department. Director Dawson then presented her team with a series of fun awards as a thank you for the work they do within the Department.
