Doraville Recognizes October 10th as Taiwan Day

At the city council meeting on Monday, October 11, Mayor Joseph Geierman and the Doraville City Council unanimously approved a proclamation declaring October 10, 2021 “Taiwan Day” in Doraville.

October 10th is known as “1010 Day” and is celebrated by the people of Taiwan every year. Our city has been made stronger by numerous Taiwanese entrepreneurs who have contributed to the city’s prosperity and helped foster close connection between Taiwan and our city. We appreciate the partnership shared by Taiwan’s people and we are grateful for how our city has benefitted from their efforts.
