Doraville City Council Approves $100,000 Grant to Combat Housing Insecurity

Last week, the Doraville City Council unanimously voted to approve a $100,000 grant to go towards rent and mortgage relief for city residents. 40% of the funds will go to mortgage relief, 40% to rent relief, and 20% to utility relief. The plan was developed by Council Members Koontz & Cohen-Morris.

DeKalb County has also launched their own eviction protection program. As of this morning, you can apply at this link if you meet the eligibility criteria. Annual family income limits are:
Family of one: $46,350
Family of two: $52,950
Family of three: $59,550
Family of four: $66,150
