Doraville PCG Study:

Through collaboration between the Doraville's Community Development Department and the Department of Transportation Bridge Office and District Office, the Peachtree Creek Greenway study will serve as a blueprint for multi-use trail connector. The project's main goal is to build a trail over the next decade that will equate to approximately 4 miles in length. The greenway will interconnect different sections of the city which will inevitably enhance a greater sense of community, while encouraging the public, an essential part of society, to visit the trail. The involvement of the public was key to the implementation of the project and has became a major contributor to the plans success. The research phase of the PCG study focused primarily on:

•    Attainability of construction
•    Appeal to all users
•    Safety of cyclists and pedestrians
•    Connections to desirable destinations
•    Connections to existing and future trails

The Greenway is split up into 4 segments. Click here to see them!
