Under the Council-Manager framework of government, our City provides quality public service in an open and accessible manner. This structure of governance combines the policy leadership of the Mayor and City Council with the managerial expertise of an appointed city manager. The City Manager is responsible for managing the operations and administration of the Doraville City government. The City Manager carries out the duties in accordance with federal, state and local laws and policies adopted by the Mayor and City Council. Responsibilities and authorities include implementing the vision of the elected leadership and directing the activities of City departments. The City Manager is the chief administrative officer and serves at the pleasure of the Mayor and City Council. |
