COMPREHENSIVE MANAGED SERVICES FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)

The City of Doraville requests proposals from qualified vendors of Information Technology Managed Services. Response to this solicitation for proposals will allow the City to rank the various companies and enter into negotiations with the company whose proposal is most advantageous to the City with price and other factors of expertise, service and references considered. The City provides services including Police, Public Works, Courts, Planning and Community Development,
fiscal departments, parks and recreation, and various administrative and support functions. The City employs approximately 110 staff and has an annual budget of approximately $20 million. For the past several years the City has outsourced its Information Technology (IT) Staff to a third‐party provider and contracted additional IT services on an as‐needed project basis. A support is in place with the current IT vendor as the RFP process goes forward to select a permanent IT services provider. The selected provider will provide all professional IT staff and services to achieve the following mission:

1.  Provide an on‐site resource(s) on a regular, weekly schedule that can support all the City Technology requirements for operations according to the terms specified in this document.
2. Support the current and future IT infrastructure assessment and planning needs by advising City Management on a regular basis of necessary budget adjustments to meet those needs.
3. Provide the City with comprehensive security planning and services including backup and disaster recovery, Antivirus, Malware, email archiving, managed firewall services, and twice a year security scanning.

By responding to this RFP there is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. To be considered, interested parties should send four electronic and one (.pdf) version of a fully responsive proposal.
