The Doraville Library, an affiliate branch of the DeKalb County Library System, is a 10,000 square foot facility. The library houses eight public access computers, color printing and free wifi. Signing up for a library card is free for residents living within Dekalb County.

With a library card you get access to:

  • Chromebooks and Wifi hotspots available for checkout 
  • Over 27,000 books, DVDs, audio books and magazines and many major daily newspapers 
  • Museum passes that get you free admission to the Atlanta Zoo, The Alliance Theater, The Center for Puppetry Arts, The Macon Museum and many others 
  • E-books through Overdrive/Libby and Hooplah 
  • Streaming movies on Kanopy
  • Tech help (make an appointment with a librarian by emailing library@doravillega.us)
 

The Doraville Library has a monthly calendar of programs for seniors, adults and children. Some of our regular programs include:

  • Story time every Monday at 10:30am for school aged children.
  • Books and Babies every Wednesday at 10:30am for babies and toddlers.
  • Mondays at 4pm we offer a craft program where there is a new and unique craft suitable for most ages. A lot of the art gets featured to the Library Facebook page.
  • English As Second Language every Saturday from 10:30am-12pm. All skill levels welcome.

We have local artists hanging their work year round. Would you like to be included? Stop by any time with a 2D piece of art. Collage, painting, photography and let us display it!

Friends Of The Doraville Library:Annual membership in Friends of the Doraville Library is $5 for an individual and $10 for a family. Meetings are every other month. The FODL helps cover costs for programs and raises money during an annual book sale in October. Purchase of a membership includes a t-shirt and first looks at the books being sold every year.
