Spanning 36 acres in the northwest corner of Doraville, just outside The Perimeter (I-285) and west of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, the new Carver Hills development will replace an aging residential neighborhood with approximately 51 detached single-family homes and 196 townhomes, a dog park, park space and greenway trails, and other community amenities.  The new dwellings will range in size from 2,500 - 3,500 square feet with price points  between the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$400,000s.  Century Communities of Georgia will develop the residential neighborhood in four phases over the next five years.  Land disturbance is underway and new construction is slated to begin mid-to-late summer 2017.

The Doraville City Council rezoned the 34-property subdivision from R-1 and O-I to the Livable Community Code Special District (SD-2) in September 2016.
